The inspiration for the site-specific work was Tycho Brahe's discovery of a supernova in 1572. The light installation consisted of colourful diapositives, projected onto canvases using specially developed lighting instruments and the garden's own lamps. The lighting instruments were inspired by Tycho Brahe's observational instruments and the light echoes that have been recorded from supernovae with modern technology.
