The work "THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER..." was shown at the Copenhagen Light Festival 2021.
The desire for a neighbour's supposedly greener, more luscious grass has existed since the dawn of time. The others' seemingly colourful and desirable life is thought to be perfect – both in the digital as well as the real world – and can cast a sad gloom over our own lives.
The installation plays with the idea, that Lille Langebro – the pedestrian bridge between Copenhagen K and Christianshavn – marks a figurative span between our own and our proverbial neighbour's green grass.

"THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER..?" invited festival guests to investigate whether the grass really was greener on the other side... it could quite possibly be just as green – right where they were!
Materials: Colour filters used on the bridge's permanent LED lights.
